It was great to get back in the studio between lockdowns towards the end of 2020, this time shooting a series of portraits (on film) of the Young Musicians Project led by the wonderful Sunderland-based organisation We Make Culture.

YMP provides a safe and supportive space for super talented young musicians in the North East to develop their musical ideas – go check them out. The portraits are displayed at the Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens as part of the Paint the Town in Sound exhibition, too.

Taken on some fresh Ilford HP5 and the trusty Hasselblad 500C/M. Developed & Scanned by me, here they are in their full, uncropped square glory.
